The seven deadly sins as portrayed through monkey
I have always had a connection to monkeys as a kid.  I was even dressed up as one when I was very little.  I would be called monkey by my parents very often due to my energy and love for hanging on things and upside down and performing dances.  Later I would learn according to the Chinese zodiac, I was born in the year of the monkey, 2004.  The year of people who are "...clever, creative, humorous, and fun-loving. They are also known for being natural explorers, with a quick wit and curiosity that draws them to travel."  When I went to Sedona, Arizona for the first time, my dad and I went to a spirit animal painting class together.  In our deep meditations, a monkey presented themselves to me, and a horse to my dad.  This solidified the monkey's presence in my life and I would eventually be immortalized by getting a monkey as my second, but first official tattoo.  All that aside, I also think they're incredibly cute.
